I agree with whats' been said but there is also one other major obstacle to getting fans thru the door. Yes its great to see a good team playing good rugby and winning but at the end of the season whats the point - without promotion I know some people who just cant be botherered because there is no end game. I go to all home games and a fair few away ones , but even then I do wonder why sometimes. I also agree about the price - once you factor in the £15 admission , a programme etc thats the best part of £20 gone -you take your kid / wife etc thats another £20 and in these tough times people will not fork out . Mind you I thought the crowd of just over 2k for the Hunslet game was a good effort and because the Cougars are going well I do expect another decent attendence. Also compliments to all staff at Halifax they are doing their best - big nod to Frank who does a lot of good work with the schools.

can only try to win what enter and be the best allowed. would be great to see a fax team win everthing even if no promotion.

This I expect will be a very competetive fixture especially if it isn't a dry track which is when I feel we'll be at our best this season. The personell & form that the Cougars bring into this match makes it a tough one to call but I feel we'll just have that bit more quality & confidence than them to win between 10 & 15 points. I would expect a crowd just below 3,000 with a decent travelling support. Fax V Keighley is a great local derby, it's always been one of my favourites to look forward to. Tiger is due a M.O.M.

Some of the comments on this thread have been about the entrance fee, personally (I do not wish to upset anyone) I don't think £15 is steep for the entertainment we will receive this year. Go to Victoria Theatre and you will pay at least the same, last week I went into a hostelry in Hebden, a pint and a glass of win was just short of £9, two rounds £18 and we were out within 40 mins. Maybe it's just me, I promise you I have no more money than most, but, I believe if we cut the charge to £10 we would get no more. Perhaps it's up to us, bring a friend, (difficult for me as I have none) so bring one more family member. "Big" the Fax up whenever you can. How many people on this forum moan that because they don't like Super League they are thinking of packing up, we even have a moderator saying the same (with friends like him who needs eneme's) We don't need Super League, this year will be our best year for ages, (no disrespect to Matt) So come on, think positive, let's try to do OUR bit. p.s (with friends like him who needs eneme's) Was not a misspelling.
