Fev's 2023 accounts now filed, and they lost nearly a million quid and had net liabilities of over £460k, and that includes the ground asset of £1.5 million. Interestingly the company has applied to be struck off. Will investigate further.

It's not dismissed so is still disputed, and as someone else said it's just kicking the can down the road. If we have a poor start to the season causing a reduction in gate numbers, a sponsor go pop. Anything like that then we're just going round in circles. Already had a potential revenue stream in the Challenge Cup disappear.
Details all the prize money from the 2001 Challenge Cup paid to clubs.
Mind you, keep reading through the programme and you see how far backwards the game really has gone, back then Oldham had Alliance and Academy managers, And a progamme of about 40 pages with plenty of adverts, albeit possibly swelled with it been a cup game. It's a far cry from what we see now
The amount being paid to these legal advisors makes you think that the amount being disputed won’t be a couple of quid so even more of a concern should the eventual decision go against us.
On pointless games I noticed it was reported that FC Town had less than 200 for their mid week cup game and stated that it was meaningless.

Was meaningless other than the cost of staging the games are covered by the Premier league and there was 8k prize money awarded..Hence known as the bribe cup and why bossy isnt averse to it....

Why do you think the company has "applied" to be struck off - isn't this a compulsory strike-off action which is directly related to the late filing, and it's no coincidence that the accounts and confirmation statement were filed the same day? This doesn't seem that unusual amongst rugby league clubs, for instance Batley appeared to have done it about 10 years in a row. https://find-and-update.company-informa ... ory?page=1

Maybe so, Phantom, but it's so shoddy. Isn't it? Can't even file simple stuff on time when they have months to do it. OK, I think the fine is only about 400 quid but what an unnecessary waste of a couple of season ticket sales, eh?

It takes real effort to fit so much bollox into so few words.....

I just took it to mean that Mr Dog can't read a balance sheet.
