Great result. Players coming back now and Fax keeping their form. Setting us up nicely. Birchencliffe, Vocation Bread & Butter 3.9% Mmm with a celebratory dram of Talisker Skye single malt. Luvli, Up The Fax!

I can't see him being brought back for fullback as Joe Martin could fit in there. Whatever it's going to be a warm 'un which reminds me of a game at Sheffield a few years ago which was the hottest match, weather wise, I've ever attended. Plenty of water then and respect the ball tonight and we should have enough to get home. I wonder if Brad Knowles will get a comeback game against his old club? Up The Fax.
Aston was never going to be allowed to play against his own team, clauses of this type are pretty standard stuff but even without one we would have informed Sheffield of our intention to recall him early enough to avoid it and give him some training time to get back up to speed with all the plays again after being away. As it turned out he was cover for LJ who I can only presume he either failed his HIA or had a vision problem after being poked in the eye? Cory on the night had a close to mom performance with some quality plays especially when linking up with Joe Arundel which considering he hasn't played for us since early April isn't bad and it will be interesting to hear SG's comments and to see if he drops him as soon as LJ is back fit. We are lucky to have 3 halves like them all offering something different. On the game, pretty testing on the nerves in the first half with a number of basic errors being punished and leading to all of the Eagles scores. Much better in the second forty and another important 2 points in the race for the third spot.

Problem now is after how well LJ and Joe Keyes have being playing together you would want them back together as soon as possible but tough to drop someone after such a good display. Maybe have LJ at 1 as long as Woody is out? I'm still not sure on that. As I mentioned interesting hear from SG and how he works it out.

I reckon woodys one of them kids that used to pretend to be ill so he could skive off school , I was stood next to the dugout and he looked fine , no strapping . In all seriousness though it doesn’t look as bad as it did at first. Overall grixs’ coaching acumen will be tested to the full in the run in and playoffs with the squad close to full fitness and suspensions subsiding there’ll be some big decisions to make all over the park .

Great, isn't it? These are the problems/decisions coaches love to have. Simon has been hampered most of the season with players missing for one reason or another but just as the league season is nearing an end and with the play offs just around the corner we are approaching a full squad. Touching wood for Jouffret and JWH and hoping we've done with the disciplinary, things are looking good. Up The Fax!
