Not worried about it, Like you say we got 3 points. All i am saying is that Barrow should not be allowed to play eve games until the lights are good enough to make it possible to see the game . It was a good win up there last night, but i didnt enjoy it and i wouldnt have drove up to the game if i had known that i wouldnt be able to see it.
what a disgrace, during the minutes silence, that at lest 2 of your sercurity people started takling on there walkie talkies in front of the main stand, they should have been made to turn them down or off would have been better

re the shirts the RL insisted that we play in black but both teams had dark shorts and socks which made it very difficult to pick out which team was which. .

Makes you wonder what people do at the RFL some days. Would it not make sense for the RFL to OK teams home and away kits so That a club have a home and away kit that are not just different designs but that are different colours?
Why should Fax and I presume Fev be forced in to playing in their away kit at home?
Surely a ground MUST pass a lighting test before being allowed to play at home? If a team has poor lighting they should be told no night games at that ground.

They were Jobsworths anyway, most of them seemed to be trying to see who could smoke the most fags during the course of the game.
Floodlights were poor but what was a disgrace was that there were no lights turned on in the stands, Except in those bogs where you can see the pitch over the wall and the Bottle Bar near the raiders bar. When asking a Steward when the lights would be put on I was told they can't afford to use them, Asked who the Head Steward was and they refused to tell me. Couldn't be bothered making an issue of it so left it, but if someone was to have a fall in one of those stands the Personal Injury Claim people would be loving it.
You're probably not going to believe this but the club actually replaced every floodlight lamp with more powerful bulbs in the week leading up to Saturdays match. So you think it was bad this week, you should have been there for the Widnes and Donny games !
Seriously, all at the club know the lights are rubbish, but as owners of the ground the club would have to foot the bill to replace them. I believe funding is being sourced through grants etc, but the final bill will be £200,000. That kind of money buys A LOT of players. The lighting was only ever going to be an issue for the first couple of home games and won't be an issue from now on. Hopefully the new lights will be installed for 2010 and hopefully you Fax fans will be able to see the difference (if we stay up that is).
The reason all home games are at 6:30 on a Saturday is for the simple reason that they attract bigger crowds. If we stay competitive I think only Widnes and Fax will have a bigger average gate this season.
