I don't live in the community and may have missed the street wars that might have happened lol but when did Fax Town fans become so bitter about life? I've rarely seen anything like it. They seemingly get very wound up on their own board and you can't view the Courier site without one of them getting bitter over a rugby story that has nothing to do with much.
What happened lads? It never used to be like this
It started when we moved to the shay they resent us from being there and call us squatters and fuel was thrown on the fire when a game on sky went ahead against Wigan despite the pitch being a complete bog cos of heavy rain giving there home game the next day no chance of being played

You no doubt realise that the pathetic Blubba is the man in control of their forum and that no one can register without his say so. He obviously has some serious problems twisting his mind. Some of the language used would not be tolerated on a properly and legally maintained forum and they should be very careful to monitor the content as it could leave them open to possible legal action with comments about some very influential and in the case of the rugby club very supportive local individuals. I would be the first to agree that both clubs need one another to succeed but why this fairly one sided, non constructive bile mainly from the football fans? I would not go down and watch the Shaymen as I don`t consider the quality of football at anything less than Football League One to be worth paying to watch but I do want them to do well for the town.

First of all can i say i will be there on Sunday at the Siddal game and good luck to them.
Secondly as a fan of both clubs i find the term "pub team" very harsh (pot kettle black) Players in the Evo Stick league and the NCEL below are Semi-Professional footballers. Am i right in thinking we are semi-professional too?
Can i also remind everyone which team will be playing against a team of amateurs this weekend? It certainly isn't the football lot!
Success?...Won the league at a canter and gained promotion last season, winning it a canter and looking good for promotion this, Average crowds on the up (with no fiddling) They would also be even higher if there hadn't been so many weekend matches called off.
I think the attitude of the football lot comes down to the fact there are many strong rumours going round about the fax bully boy tactics and these come from reliable sources. Also the mis payment of rent. The attitude shown since we came down from Thrum Hall has been very disrespectful to all concerned!
Anyway we need both teams in this town but if we are not careful, we will start to look as stupid as they do if we don't start opening our eyes!!
Also having been to a few Town games myself the football on show has been top class and something to be proud of. They have a very good manager getting the very best out of his young players, some of which could quite easily make the grade higher up the pyramid
