There is still a while until the season starts I would genuinely like to see our new Board commit to players who can get us out of the league, even if it upsets the Grix clique. There is still no evidence he can coach higher level players rather than develop young talent (which in itself is a real skill). Perhaps that’s why Harrison is there so when they sack Grix they have a “friend” to replace him
That comes across as quite a bitter leftfield take. Im not sure what you took from that meeting that suggests that the new board are suddenly going to be finding hundreds of thousands of pounds extra that will be needed to take us to genuine promotion contenders. As for Grix, well there won't be any evidence that he can coach higher level players yet will there unless Im missing something. I'm sure Karl has no interest in getting back in to coaching either. Strange take but we will wait and see.

While we knew he was leaving very disappointed to see that Gwaze has signed a 3 year deal with the Eagles. I know we can't sign everyone, and obviously don't know what went on with the contract negotiations at Halifax, but this is a player who got both the crowd and the team going every time he came onto the pitch, and should only get better as he approaches what should be his prime. Really hope we've tied up Matty Gee and Saltonstall.

Maybe Titus priced himself out of Halifax, or hung on too long to decide on an offer and by the time he had decided the funds had been spent elsewhere?
Yes I'm disappointed he's gone - but the rumoured signings are probably better in my opinion
Another young signing from Rochdale , Ben Forster , 2nd rower . I don’t know anything about him so I guess we’ll wait and see. I see the benefit of signing players for the future but hopefully this will be balanced out with some experience in the coming weeks.
I am happy to give Ben a chance to show us what he can do for me he looks a good prospect weather that's in the backrow or front. By the sounds of things we will be announcing more signings in the pack next week. And we need in the backs at least another halfback and Centre i see Inu as joined the backroom staff at salford i wouldn't of mind him joining us and there's Langi who as been released by Catalans he would do for me at Centre. And welcome to our new assistant coach and conditioner they are important additions too.
Slightly off topic which bright spark from the rfl decided to play next seasons summer bash at york. I get some people want it scrapped altogether and some like me liked it at Blackpool but to play it at the home ground of one the sides taking part is ridiculous. Could you imagine a super league side having home advantage for magic weekend the other clubs would have a fit. Under the img proposals the bash will be gone anyway but to finish it like this is very poor for me.

I totally agree with what you say but really it's just common sense. Presumably that's summat that those who make these decisions are utterly bereft of.
