Pete we are struggling a bit in the pack , missing Green with a broken arm , it enables Amone, Stone , and Asiata to concentrate on the front and second rows , as Bell is a ball playing loose forward , all Leigh fans were gutted to see him go to Saints .Should be a very good open game , the dry weather hopefully will add to this , we should be at full strength , except for long termGreen .

It's rubbish Ian and partly responsible for fans turning their backs on the game. We might as well just put all 'fringe' players in a pool and let cubs take their pick of them each week.

Morning surely you are only “at full strength “ because you will have a DR and a Loan player playing. Doesn’t that mean your squad is not at full strength.

Good Afternoon Faxlore , it was mentioned before the season started that we are a bit light in numbers , having only a small squad , Derek and Lammy are still on the look out for potential signings , so even though we are at full strength we are low in squad numbers , which is why we are taking DR players .
James Bell was a very valued team member last season , one of our consistent good players , I’m really happy he’s got the chance to return , he still lives in Leigh and is looking forward to Monday Night .I would have liked Dan Norman to return but he’s in Saints squad this week end .
I haven’t seen the announced squad for the Fax game , I was just assuming we have no injury problems ,should be a good game , and Fax are apparently doing a great job promoting the event .

Well Charlie you may feel you have a small squad but from what I’ve seen of Leigh on TV they aren’t short of talent and pace. Let’s hope it’s a good and entertaining game for the cameras and a win for the Panther’s! The club have been promoting it well and I hope local folk (and not local) take the offer up and come and see some RL. Hope you have a ‘reasonably’ enjoyable trip to the Shay.

Sadly I won’t be making the trip to the Shay, I had a bad fall before Christmas , broke my arm ,broke 3 toes ,and ended up with a very bad cut head , I’m still not very steady , I’m attending home games , but I don’t feel comfy travelling yet , and as the game is on the Tele , I will watch it at home .
The Leigh squad has been announced , we have winger Hitchcox missing ,as well as long term Green , but the21 announced look strong,Inu is in the squad and Nisbet the Saints winger is in ,add Bell and Mcdonell to our usual pack ,I think it will be a close game ,maybe Leigh’s full time fitness being the difference , I’m going for Leigh win by 12 .

So we have mason and ashworth in from huddersfield with louis and morris missing out. I am really looking forward to this game to see how we fair against one of the strongest sides in the division. As far as the 2 dr are concerned i would play them both as long as they have a good attitude they should do a good job for us if not they don't get picked again. As far as team selection goes i would pick.

aston

ashworth
wood
murray

tangata
fairbank

mason
