While I know dual reg divides opinion the timing of this announcement means I'd be very surprised if there wasn't at least 1 Huddersfield player in the squad for Sunday. I knew nothing about Brad Knowles before this season he's given the team more punch than any of our other forwards; I wouldn't be disappointed with either Roberts or Hewitt as a temporary replacement at least until Gee becomes available.

It's ok having blinders against Haven though isn't it? McDonald I agree will be destructive but Aetkins is at his level at championship. He isn't good enough for superleague let alone, NRL. Amone bit part at the Tigers and Sam Stone couldn't get a sniff at the Titans when they were running last a few seasons ago and lost out out Beau Fermor instead. You come and degrade our signings as not impressive but yet to me, you just have castoffs and an anti- vaxxer in Asiata. Like most of the imports, some of ours included, let's not lose sight that if they were good enough and brought value to the club, on and off of the field, they would be in SL or the NRL like your Joey Leluia's of this world.

I’ve said from the start Haven will be battling relegation this year ,so to me last weeks game wasn’t that much of a test , Monday against Fev will be more difficult.
You seem to be well versed on our imports , maybe Derek should be consulting you and not anyone from Abroad ,McDonald could have 5 or 6 tries on Sunday ,if he stays injury free will be in contention for top try scorer in the Championship, as for our other imports granted only 1 game gone, but Amone adds plenty of punch to our pack ,Stone the same and he has size and Asiata I respect everyone’s views on vaping it’s up to the individual ,added to young Smith at hooker and Sidlow and Ionane our props we have a very big mobile pack , which will shift a few on dry grounds .
Aekin was my Man of the Match after McDonald ,we lacked a decent full back for a couple of years now , all in all we will see .
I haven’t degraded anyone ,how many games have you seen from Singapore,we also have around 4 more players yet to come in , and this signed a young player McDonnell from Wigan, Whats he like .

You seem to like coming on this board being all pally whilst constantly putting down Halifax. You're bound to put some noses out of joint with your approach. There's banter and there's insidiousness, gauge for yourself where you sit.

All I stated was I’m not impressed with your signings this season , nothing degrading about that , or offensive , just my opinion , the proof will be as the season unfolds obviously , I admit I love a bit of banter ,if you stated Leigh would be battling relegation this season , I’d love that , I respect everyone’s opinions in life .

Yes but you connected them with the loss on Sunday.

Fact is though Ian several of them weren't playing against Batley and those who were, were doing fine until that horrendous injury to BK.
In an earlier post I explained what impact that, along with two in the sin bin had on the rest of the match.
We lost him after just 3 minutes of him coming on with huge implications for the interchanges and were down to 11 men at one point for an overlapping 20 minutes playing uphill, our fault for the bin but nothing to do with your assessments on the signings.

After just one game in those circumstances how is there anything to gauge them on, hardly fair or even sensible to do so.

Sorry, but this time mate it's not a case of Charlie knows, more a case of Charlie has no idea what he's talking about.
Keep safe pal and stop talking out of your arsenal :thumb:

Faxcar , as you know I always respect yer opinion ,I think I gave my opinion before the Batley game , sometimes things occur during a match to alter the score,ie injuries or substitutions , or a Refs decision , I was gauging my opinion of previous performances, and I don’t think I named any players , just stating I wasn’t impressed .
I did predict the resuly

Faxcar , I respect your opinions and views ,I don’t think I named any of your signings I wasn’t impressed with , and based my opinions on previous performances with other Clubs , and I did forecast the right result at Batley , nearLy had the correct score .
All my opinions aRe just that , my opinions , as I’ve stated anybody that berates Leigh , I welcome they are entitled to their opinion ,yeah I love a wind up ,after only one game the season is far to early to predict , for what it’s worth Fev will probably beat us on Monday , but if they don’t then we would be in the driving seat for the coming weeks , I can’t wait .
Staying safe for me is easy to say but hard to do these days , I do my best .
