Well done and congratulations to everyone involved with Halifax RLFC so far this season, and most notably the recent Castleford Tigers game.
As a team, you were fantastic, we played our usual attractive rugby and showed that we are just as good as Super League, and we clearly showed that we had much more passion, determination and Yorkshire grit than full time professionals have.
You did yourselves proud, your families proud, the supporters proud, the town of Halifax proud and most importantly you showed the rugby league world how proud you are to wear the blue and white jersey and play for Halifax!
The main point I'd make is that the team competed totally on an equal level with Cas. I was concerned before the game that their sheer strength would be too much for Fax. How wrong I was!
Proud to wear the blue 'n' white!!
Matt and Martin must be amongst the most understated, underated sporting leaders of modern times to have taken us to where we are today - absolutely fantastic.
... just three trophies to win now (or is it two - is there one for finishing top of the league?).

Thanks to all involved with the club.
It was an occasion for everyone to savour and remember for a long time to come.
It was a cruel way to lose after such a gallant effort.
Lets make sure that this group of players and coaching staff stay together and go from strength to strength and regain our rightful place in Super League.
Stick with the FAX and the supporters will be right behind you all the way!!!
Well done again lads, keep it up.
IF YOU WANT TO WIN IT YOU'VE GOT TO EARN IT.
DESIRE AND PASSION FOR 80 MINUTES.
COME ON FAX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This saturday I was gutted not to watch the cas game but i know now that when we sing the anthems at home they will echo for miles and miles throughout the land! Making our presence aware for those who dare tread our grounds!
Well done lads. Go foward and succeed!
Proud to be a FAX FAN!

Top class rugby played by a top class TEAM. What a team effort.
The excitement was almost too much to bear, absolutely fantastic.
It made me proud to wear the blue and white and received so many congrataulations from Castleford fans around me, who thought we didnt deserve to loose.
