Lots of wayward passing in the first half with ball to ground. Pitch was very heavy and players were losing their footing a lot. It'll be nice to see fax play on a firm pitch. Hunslet went well until we made a break and they held on too long in the tackle and had a player binned for the offence. We scored from that and never really looked back.

Looked comfortable once we got a score on the board.

Good to get a game under their belts and can now move on from it. Could tell that they had not got much training done recently and the passing and movement were a bit rusty. Defence was solid throughout the game and the signs were there for a good season ahead.

The PNG's looked really strong for Hunslet, Charlie Wabo and Michael Mark stood out for them and should make an impact in their league.
