so who is going on sunday i will be there a nice early start for the trip up there. As for the game there coach was not a happy bunny after monday nights game and i am expecting a bit of a backlash from them. They may not be playing well at the moment but i still expect them to come at us hard. We just need to make sure we at least match there desire if not better it and on the back of that i think we have the fire power to get the 2 points. I will go for a fax win 16-24.

Saturday night in Ulverston, Sunday night in Barra for us. :D I'd be happy with any win to keep the momentum going but as TS says Barrow will be hoping to get their season up and running as they are in danger of being cut adrift at the bottom of the table. Nonetheless even without Lachlan we should have enough fire power and I'll go for Barrow 16v28 Fax. :thumb:

I have always acknowledged that Grix knows a lot more about rugby than I do - but unless Doro is injured I am at a loss to understand why he is not even in the squad and Maher starts. No doubt I will be proved wrong and Maher will play longer than 15 mins and have a blinder - if he does no one will be more pleased than me.
The Widnes loss you can accept as they are a decent team and more than capable of picking up wins but Barrow are poor and we had an extra days rest on them making this a very poor result. Team selection suggests that Grix took them lightly and it came back to bite him on the booty. We desparatley need two centres and another forward, the Cas DR has been a disaster and their morale must be shot so its going to be hard to bring anyone in that way but we just look to be ambling along.

Oh dear, what an awful result. This should have been a win. The only compensation for me is that Bradford lost heavily to Keighley so we have moved up one place in the league.

Well there's no sugar coating that performance/result, it was awful. Poor discipline, again. Powder puff forwards and wierd team selection. Take your pick. What is definate is we are going backwards on last season. Why, who knows? Meet do better. Duke of Edinburgh, Barrow. Lancaster Red 4.8% Mmm!

Similar to several other displays concerning discipline, errors and territory with long periods spent in our own half especially after the interval but with Barrow on the rebound from the Batley game and midweek soul searching meeting we didn’t get away with it this time albeit by 4 points.
Keyes decision to go himself instead of putting the support in was a big chance wasted.
Time will tell how costly the lost 2 points are when the results are so up and down from a number of teams, in the space of a couple of weeks we beat Keighley, Bradford beat Sheffield, Keighley beat Bradford, Sheffield beat Toulouse, Batley hammer Barrow and Barrow beat Fax.
