Anyone go? Sounds like a decent run out for the team and a surprise debut for Widdop although by the sounds of it the move happened that although we might have expected its not one we wanted with Woody moving out to centre to allow Widdop to play in the halves and LJ to fullback.

Opposition not up to much and game constantly interrupted by Ridyard and McNnally muttering to the ref... and giving themselves a breather... they give Paul Sykes a run for his money. We dominated first 20 mins or so and looked like we could have made up the points difference on York at one point. Then we seemed to lose direction for a while, which seemed to coincide with Tangata, Lannon and O'Brien going off. Also got hit a bit on discipline, particularly six again although this seemed harsh and in contrast to the refereeing at Oldham.
We showed some good stuff in attack with some really nice tries. As for GW, most of his touches lead to breaks or tries. Matty Gee must be rubbing his hands at the thought of playing outside him.
The first thing i noticed about Rochdale was how small their players were compared to Oldhams. So for once we enjoyed physical dominance over the opposition and they had little line speed so we had a lot more time on the ball but they did move the ball well and their number 7 was lively. Also Ridyards kicking caused us a fair few problems from restarts and out of hand. As for us i think pretty much everyone had a good game, both centres had good games Keyes was finding the ground with his kicks and Jouffret had a good allround game including only missing one shot at goal when most of his kicks came from the touchline. As Greg as touched on now that Widdop has got 30 minutes under his belt how do we use him going forward. As things stand right now i would go with Widdop on that right hand side, move Jouffret to the left and leave Keyes out. If woody was to pick up a injury then Jouffret would be my pick to go to fullback and Keyes can come back into the halfs.
