National volunteer winners announced
The RFL are delighted to announce the winners of the 2011 National Volunteer Awards.
This year sees eight volunteers recognised for their efforts within the community game and each was selected by an independent panel after first gaining their respective accolades at a regional level.
Wembley will provide a fitting venue for the presentation of the awards, with all the winners invited down to national stadium for the Carnegie Challenge Cup Final on Saturday August 27.
“The Great Hall at Wembley will provide a wonderful venue for the awards,” said Kelly Barrett, RFL Community Game Services Manager.
“The Carnegie Challenge Cup Final is one of the biggest games in the Rugby League calendar and gives us the perfect opportunity to thank the winners for their efforts.”
“I’d like to congratulate each of them on their achievements and hope that they have a great day.”
