Every day and there's new story of Tory MP lining their own pockets or those of their friends and family. It seems like under Boris, the usual checks and balances have been ignored or side stepped and we have the former PM, Cameron, begging for favours to help his friends company, whom he has monies invested in, we now have the Health Secretary awarding contracts to a company that his sister just happens to be a director of ?? The list is endless and there seems to be no control or, even a desire to control.
When a Tory stalwart such as Eric Pickles says there needs to be changes, you know there is something badly wrong.
The old school tie has been taken to a whole new level and although some issues can be swept under the carpet and blamed on having to act quickly due to the covid pandemic, there seems little doubt that a number of the Troy party have seized their opportunity to line their pockets at the taxpayers expense.

Seems to have become par for the course recently rather than cause for scandal.

Wouldn't have thought so. Apparently, Cameron is "a man of the highest integrity". Mind you, that comes from within his self serving, gravy train, jobs for the boys, party, so, probably not the greatest reference.
The nepotism and rule bending has gone on in some form since time began but, it does appear that under Boris's stewardship, it's very much "fill yer boots time" and they are certainly having a very good time at the taxpayers expense.
Forever thus across all political parties - look at the expense claims for non-Tory MPs !! Jacob Rees Mogg - zero and he is not the only Tory claiming nothing.
Angela Rayner only travels first class!! Len McClusky see no issue spending union money in expensive hotels and restaurants - they are all the same - snout in the trough
I find it amazing when it is the Conservatives it is always all the others are doing the same or if they fail to legislate it was the same for many years regardless who was in charge. I ask has Johnson produced the 100 contracts that he failed to declare despite being instructed to do so.
I would also ask how many first class rail tickets would it cost to cover two vanity planes that have been used once. I regret Johnson has form on wasting tax payers money, £126,000 on pole dancing lessons, several million on a garden bridge plus several water cannons. I regret his philosophy with regards to tax payers money has spread to the rest of the cabinet judging by the current cronyism and contracts for friends and sisters.

Hilarious. You're as bad as the Express. All the dodgy contracts the Tories were dishing out and they ran with an outrage story about Angela Rayner claiming £249 for some earphones for her video meetings.
When the public, like yourself, say things like, "they're all as bad as each other", it shows just how much dodgy behaviour has been normalised. You're happy with it. You expect it. What would it take to really get your back up, an MP to literally pick your pocket?

Hancock actually awarded the contract did he, or did he declare his interest and take no influence on the decision
