Possibly the quickest way to allow hospitality to open up, along with major sporting events but, this will be highly contentious. A "health passport" required for admission, is this the thin end of the wedge or something neccessary to allow us to move forward ? . |

This "quickest way to open" and everything surround passport of vaccine certification is pure gaslightling. It offers a small carrot with a big stick. It will not work for hospitality and they know it, so they may well withdraw that leaving other venues saddled with this nonsense. Coercion and punishment are not sound principles in an allegedly free society. I'm against them in all settings domestically, we won't have much say internationally, but if individual businesses wish to bring it in themselves (along with every single additional cost it entails) then I have no problem with that and the public can then make their own choice as to whether to given them their money or not. Either the vaccine(s) are effective or they are not. The data says they are, as is take up. Everything else is political posturing, smoke and mirrors. Sorry for the word salad. I should also add that a judge are expedited the hearing of the hospitality industry's case for opening up along with "none essential" businesses to this coming Tuesday, during which Hancock will have to actually show the evidence they used to shut up pubs and clubs, put numerous caveats on their reopening last summer and then why they continue to remain closed. |

Try googling "Yellow Fever vaccination certificate", they've been around for years, I needed to get one nearly 50 years ago. |

I'm not sure about it really, unless it's properly thought through a lot of people could fall through the cracks and that would be the worst of all worlds. |

It’s a dilemma for the government. I do think travel will be used to force people to be vaccinated along with other popular recreation. If someone is exempt from having the vaccine because it’s endangering their life is another issue. Not sure where people in that situation stand. They will potentially be at risk forevermore. |

It really needs to be organised properly if they go ahead (not confident this lot can manage that). Can see it being something you need for overseas travel. For other things less likely I reckon. It goes against Johnson's principles so they'll probably make some half hearted attempt at something that will be ineffective. |

What usually happens is that Johnson makes a positive statement which is not backed up by the actual legislation, resulting in confusion. They could look to add vaccination confirmation on the app they produced because it is not much use for anything else and it cost enough. |

Are they even necessary, what purpose do they serve that the current advice on masks and social distancing etc don't? |
