Post subject:  RIP Alan Parker
Bugsy Malone amongst many other films that have been a part of my life. I had the pleasure of meeting him once, a thoroughly nice fella. I do wonder who is making anything like a legacy now. When Spielberg, Pacino, Cane, Travolta, Sam LJ etc. go what will we have left, no real actors, that is for sure. Even Tom Cruise is embarrassing himself flogging the MI franchise to death.

I preferred his Mississippi Burning.
But you probably thought them three meddling civil rights kids 'got what was coming' as well?
