Yep , no such thing , with regards any top level sport , you are what you were born with , by all means live your private life as you please , but as far as in competition is concerned shouldn't happen

That's true but, although she's not Transgender, there are major issues with Caster Semenya and naturally high levels of testosterone and she seems to beat the competition with ease, apart from, from time to time, seeming to "allow" herself to get beaten. Navratilova's words on the subject are spot on but, in the modern world and with "transgender" issues becoming far more prevalent, and with numbers rapidly increasing this could be a major issue in the future and not just in sport.

Caster Semenya is female, not intersex. She's not transgender either. Her body produces more testosterone than average that's all.

Yes, I know but, there are many of her competitors wanting to ban her because of her "unfair" advantage and no, you cant ban anyone just because they have a physical (or psychological) advantage.
It's difficult to imagine having to go through a "gender test" in order to be allowed to compete or to be banned for not being "female". There was an Indian runner, stripped of her medals 10/15 years ago, which must be horrendous.
Hasn't this been an issue in athletics for years? Runners have been moaning about Kenyan's having an unfair advantage since they started winning all the distance races, with the occasional Ethiopian outlier, and Michael Phelps could be argued as having a distinct advantage because of his enormously wide shoulders and freakishly long arms.
I kind of get the need to have a conversation about transgender athletes - but this isn't one of those cases.

Phelps advantage was his body proportions i.e. very short legs compared to his overall body length
Transgender is a huge issue in society - this is small group with a disproportionate influence - the sooner this is rectified the better
All this even if they dress as woman they should be classed as woman even though they have male organ is bonkers

The idea that humans that started life as men should be able to compete against humans born just because they have decided they were born into the wrong body type and they have had hormone treatment is ridiculous
The transgender lobby is disproportionately powerful - now we have a status of gender fluid WTF!!, primary schools have gender neutral toilets so the kids can decide what gender they would prefer to be its bonkers.
Ask Ian McEwan how he was treated when he suggested having a penis is a good indicator of gender.
Now that homosexuality is now considered mainstream those who campaigned for that have now shifted to Transphobia as the enemy
