I really didn't like seeing her on the front bench apart from help policies she had a pouty mouth whenever the cameras were on her.

She was very clearly unqualified and unsuitable for the position; the bigger question is, when this kind of thing happens, why aren't they immediately deselected as an MP? They've failed to meet the standards required of a minister, but we apparently set lower standards to represent a constituency? I don't suppose it's got anything to do with Mrs May's very fragile position?

Hopefully Boris Johnson will be next - his affable, comedy buffoon routine has worn distinctly thin; time for him to go too.

you can only really be deselected for the next election, replaced by another person who can run.

She could be suspended by the party or banned by the party which would mean she was no longer a tory but would still be the MP for her constituency. It isn't up to the government to remove her as an MP but her constituants or the electoral commission could impose it if serious wrongdoing.

I am not 100% sure on all this but I think this is the case.

I believe that's the case - they end up as independents if I recall correctly.

It seems wrong that a person deemed unfit to hold high office can sit pretty (forgive the pun) until the next election though; that wouldn't happen in any other employment situation.

That is completely wrong - people get promoted to be managers it doesn't work out so they revert to the position that they were very good as before that idebtified them as possible management material.

No organisation wants to lose good people simply because a role doesn't suit their skill set

That's a fine attempt at apologising on behalf of Tory ministers - but sexually harassing someone, holding secret meetings with foreign powers, or endangering the life of a UK citizen abroad are not examples of people who have been promoted to the level of their own incompetence.

Would you say Blair endangered more or less lives of UK citizens abroad than Boris? There appears to be as many Labour MP's sexually harassing members of the other sex so I would suggest your attempt at suggest the Tories are responsible for all the ills of the world is misplaced.

Indeed - the new default of Tories and their supporters.
