Staying a few days in June before moving on to the US for a week, then changing flights in Toronto on the return to the UK. How much does a visa cost? Lots of sites offering to do it for varying amounts |

You have to pay for and need a visa now a days? The three times I've been, most recently 2011 I don't recall needing one. |

You don't need a VISA but you do need an eTA. Appears to basically be the same as the US ESTA system. This is from sometime in March 2016 IIRC. Before then you don't need one. As with any official thing do it through the official Canadian government website. Again IIRC it costs $7 Canadian. |

As others have already mentioned, no Visa is necessary, just the ESTA type form to complete. We went on a trip in the Summer which sounds similar to what you're doing, we spent time in Toronto & Montreal and then onto New Hampshire & Boston. We had changes in our flights home too, way cheaper than direct flights and very little waiting time in between. |
