Not much in Thermopylae. Silted up aeons ago. Best site is Epidaurus. Which is odd given that the city state of Argos was one of history's biggest chokers. |

I loved it. Did the touristy things (Acropolis) which was impressive but I like just walking around and getting lost. Soon as I got in a cab outside Syntagma Square and told the driver where I wanted he piped up "I recognise that accent". Turned out he'd married a lass from Batley! Although I take offence that my accent is anything like a Batley accent. I'd recommend a trip out to Piraeus which is easy with the Metro. |

Don't get caught driving in the rush hour it was utter chaos! The obvious things to do are the touristy sites such as the Acropolis and the Olympic Stadium. |

Get a Flying Dolphin from Piraeus to Aegina (pronounced Egginna). By October there should be plenty of oranges and pistachio nuts |
