Did anyone see it last night? What a pile of dross.

Such leading intellects speaking as Katie Hopkins and Lou Zissman. A wholly unrepresentative audience. Rabble who would not let each other speak.

To congratulate themselves on airing a subject that the major channels steer clear of discussing but then produce such utter, utter meaningless tripe was bizarre.

Edit: A review:

Looking at the list of who was on there, I'm glad I gave it a miss.

Being on Channel 5, and called the "Row", it was always going to be a car crash, given who owns C5 (the Express headline yesterday was something to do with 70% of people wanting immigration stopped). Has he ever stopped goose-stepping?

It seems that it just became a shouting match. Martin Offiah described it as a complete waste of a Monday night on Twitter. Another punter on Twitter suggested that immigrants should be gassed

Unfortunately, while this is an important issue, it is always debated with a lack of understanding, bordering on raving, by loudmouthed empty vessels. With all due respect to Martin Offiah, he's not top of my list to debate immigration in the UK, but he's certainly above some of the others in the programme. It needs a proper debate and tbh it needs some proper information to be made available so that the rantings of the uninformed can be stopped.

(And yes I do declare an interest  )

2005 Challenge Cup

To reconcile respect with practicality, what is the optimum speed for a hearse?

Yes, the 70% anti-immigration figure was oft quoted. Unfortunately, the only indigenous people in the audience seemed to be raving nutters (political extremists) and it was left to our Katie to be the self-professed of the 70% majority! That says it all.

"Your Katie"?

You're fooking welcome to her. There are plenty of 'rent-a-gobs' around but she's the epitome of 'rent-a-gobshite'

I'm glad I move to Australia and missed it.

The Rugby Football League are in the process of reviewing the video that you are referring to. We do not condone behaviour of this nature and have contacted the player’s employer, Hull F.C., who have confirmed that they are dealing with the incident under their club rules.

Thats a bit extreme, all you had to do was read the title of the program in the TV listings to understand very quickly what it was all about - then watch or listen to something else like I did.

TV is mainly (probably 90%) complete shoite - the trick is to tiptoe through the shoite and cherry-pick only the bits you want to watch, then listen to the radio or read a book.
