Anyone else having problems with blueyonder email cant recieve or send emails always comes up with login and when i do nothing happens just comes up with Account: 'pop3.blueyonder.co.uk', Server: 'pop3.blueyonder.co.uk Protocol: POP3, Server Response: '-ERR [AUTH] Username and password not accepted.', Port: 995, Secure(SSL): Yes, Server Error: 0x800CCC90, Error Number: 0x800CCC92.

Googled this and takes you straight to virgin media mail which also i am unable to sign into.

Just phoned virgin media yet again about not been able to login to my account/email since 21st oct,was told still working on the issue should be up and running by end of the week again.Thats nearly 3 weeks without email, told them if not up and running by end of this week im cancelling the lot its beyond a joke.

Anyone else having problems Rant Over

Why don't you try a different email client such as Thunderbird? If you do and it works that would show you there is a problem with your Outlook installation/configuration on your computer and not with the ISP. You don't have to switch email client permanently, just try a different one to help you track down the problem.

There will be instructions somewhere on your ISP's web site how to configure it.

I have a hotmail account and the settings are the same for virgin media incoming and out going and this works fine. Also when im in virgin media and click on lost user name and password asks for virgin media account details surname/account number, says they cannot reset the password only me my name can do this to login.
Sick of trying getting nowhere with them via phone calls.
As for thunderbird never heard of them plus why must i download this to set up an email account?

I didn't realise you could not set up an account. I thought you had lost access to an existing account so was suggesting you try different software in case the software was the problem.

FYI Thunderbird comes from the same people who do the Firefox web browser but I guess you may not have heard of that either.

Is there any reason why you need to use Outlook when you have Virginmedia ?

Its got its own email interface on your Virginmedia homepage.

I have some important documents i need to print off also had this email account for 11 years so all my emails go here.

Virgin have still not sorted this out as today 1 month on and even though i can view my account details bill wise im still unable to login to my email in virgin too it either says this account doesnt exsist or the account has been deleted.

I blame virgin for this so sent them a email from another account saying if it is not sorted by the end of the month i will be cancelling my account, because im not get the service im paying for.

Fed up of phoning them thats the reason i sent them an email lets see if they phone me back like they promised :x
