She hasn't worked since the call, yet the guy who she was working with has been moved to a sister station.

The notion that they should have been charged over the nurses suicide was ridiculous. It was ridiculous that the CPS cited a lack of evidence as the reason they weren't charged with manslaughter.

No it wasn't. Scotland Yard provided CPS with a file of evidence and asked for advice on whether a prosecution should be brought. Not just for manslaughter, but for any other offences. We had that discussion ad nauseam too. having been asked to advise on it, CPS simply did. What else could they do? They said they could not advise a manslaughter charge as there was no evidence of manslaughter. What else could they say?

They should have sent the files straight back to Scotland Yard with a post it note saying they have 100,000 real crimes to deal with, and considering this woman's suicide was in part caused because of a prank call they don't appreciate prank requests being made by Scotland Yard officials.

"In February, the UK's Crown Prosecution Service decided there was insufficient evidence to charge Mr Christian and Ms Greig with manslaughter over Mrs Saldanha's death."

That language is the kind of language that the CPS would use if someone had their head caved, the police had a chief suspect who they thought had done it, but the evidence wasn't good enough to warrant a charge.

It suggests that the evidence hasn't been produced, but they might still be guilty of the crime.

The ONLY reason that Scotland Yard asked the question of the CPS was because it was involving the royal family. If Mrs Saldanha's house had been burgled and all her possessions smashed up and she killed herself over that, they'd have just offered Mr Saldanha the crime number for his insurance claim.



So why bother with the link over the probably ridiculous lawsuit anyway?

Really was no bother at all. I don't think it's ridiculous at all. I have always said the real villains of the piece were the radio station for taking the considered decision to run the story, this decision had serious repercussions for 2 employees, and her lawyers presumably in principle agree.
