Tesco has withdrawn a colouring book from sale to 5-year-olds after it was pointed out that it had stuff like an image of actress Janet Leigh screaming as she is stabbed to death in Psycho's infamous shower scene, pre-coloured already with gory bloodstains.

The publisher said the book had been placed in the wrong category, and is aimed at adults. Maybe I am missing something. I just wondered how many adults on here use colouring books?

Tempting, so very tempting ... but, no I shall not accuse.

Given the weather, it was predictable that banal utterings would soon emerge from our guardians and minders.

Quote:Health officials in England are advising people experiencing the very hot weather to stay cool, and drink lots of cold fluids

Quote:The NHS says the main risks posed by a heatwave are dehydration, overheating, heat exhaustion and heatstroke.

I shall sleep sounder in my bed, knowing that such brilliant minds are selflessly labouring away, behind the scenes, ensuring our survival.

Drinking lots of water is good – but do not forget the salt.
