Was it me or did it seem like it was organised by Conservative party central office. With excerpts of speeches from David Cameron, " We are all part of the United Kingdom", and then Boris Johnson putting his two pennorth in. To the background of music and fireworks. |

I thought I heard Cameron. Interesting how Sky mentioned Seb Coe and HM the Queen. But made no mention of Cameron. Sky said Boris had a big hand in organising it. So you might be right. |

Yes Cameron and Boris's words were used. but it was words praising the people of this country. Cameron is the Prime minister and Boris is the Mayor of London. If it was a labour Prime Minister and Mayor of london, you wouldn't be saying a dickie bird about it. |

They were some of the sounds of 2012, a couple will be remembered for quite a while, does it really matter who said them? Its not as if anyone on the left had anything memorable to say. |

Excellent work by the choreographer. Boris: "Above all you brought home the truth about us and this country" - over the music of "Won't get fooled again" |

Mind you, I watched them as a background to a party gathering and so didn't listen properly. I just admire the personnel who put them in place physically and worked out the computerised orchestration. Very good I thought. I would have liked to have been there. Some people like to moan about and over-analyse everything. |
