Post subject:  PPI advice anybody?

Just wondered if anybody on here has been successful in any PPI claims??

Any advice on the easiest and most stress-free way of going about a claim??

Cheers in advance for any help.

Have a look at the Money Saving Expert's (Martin Lewis) site he explains it all, if you have grounds for a refund etc. you can print off a document to make your claim. We did ours and got the full amount (25 years worth) refunded but ours was a pretty clear cut case. (Mr W. works away from home) so the PPI was useless. Do not use any of the TV advertisers or 'phone cold callers as they can charge upto 30%. If you think you have a decent case, don't hesitate you've got nothing to lose but the price of a stamp. Give it a go, good luck.

I've done it and got payments back from 2 credit cards I had at least 6 years ago!! Defo do it yourself, don't use these rip off merchants that do it for you and want 30%

As suggested, only a bit of research is required to get in forms you need to send off with a letter and any old statements ( if you have them ) that show you paid PPI to the bank.

Sit back and wait for the cheque to arrive!! lol

To date I have had in excess of £25k back from PPI policies, it is very easy to do yourself.

Print off the 'Consumer Questionaire' from the FOS website, fill it in and send it off to the bank or credit card company you are claiming from. Simple as that.

Do not use any of the PPI claims companies who will charge you 25-30% of your refund for doing the same thing for you.
