RIP Frank. Also wrote the classic 'Stoned Love' by the Supremes. How much will an original pressing of 'Do I Love You?' be worth now? |

Only two genuine copies in the world, last time one changed hands (IIRC it was Tim Browns copy) it went for around £25k. Originals are on a plain white 'Soul' label - there is a pink bootleg and the UK Tamla Motown release, the boot is worthless, the UK release about £25 on issue and £100 on demo. Not sure how much the picture sleeve demo is now. (I did an article on this when the last one was sold...) There's a great story about an 'original' that's glued to a shop wall somewhere in the US too Oh and that list of tracks above is my Northern nightmare list. Overplayed, all of them. I never want to hear The Snake ever again. And Chris Clark did the definative version of DILY(IID).... |
