Anyone been to E Pellicci's? Quite fancy going there sometime - although it's a bit far to walk at lunchtime.
Can anyone recommend any other E1 and E2 eateries that are good value / interesting / traditional / quirky or whatever?
It uses the spelling Beigel Bake and it would have been my recommendation.
Try Tayyab's ... walk down to the far end of Brick Lane from Beigel Bake, cross over Whitechapel High Street and it's in a back street parallel with Whitechapel High Street.
Well tasty, very cheap, very popular with the locals and a bit too brisk for lingering.
Fifteen years ago, I would have recommended Bloom's but you'd have to go up Golder's Green to enjoy Bloom's nowadays.
