Anyone on here do it or done it before? Going to Chill Factor in Manchester next week for an introductory lesson and hoping to get into doing it on a regular basis. Other than a board and clothing, is there anything else i need to consider buying, or is it best just hiring stuff to start with??

wrist guards, an absolute 100% must, because your legs are fixed your hands go down first, 60%+ of the people who board for the first few times end up with broken wrists.

My main tip would be to put the snowboard down and pick up some skis.

Pr1ck with a stick > gay on a tray.

Don't know about the stat but he is right about your wrists taking a real battering...after a 3 hour lesson i'd decided i didn't like snowboarding....skiing is a doddle in comparision
