Thought I posted this earlier? Maybe I didn't.

I hear on Australian television that Sacha Baron Cohen is not allowed to give interviews on telly back in the UK to promote his new film.

Anyone know why?

He can, just not 'in character' on the bbc. Advertising and all that. Same as ever, good publicity for the film though

Well thats a boring answer.

To provoke some debate how about we pretend the real answer is "because it offends Muslims".

Why should we have to bow down to what they want, it's not their country if things like that offend them why don't they stay in their own country? We wouldn't go over to Islamistan and demand that they don't wave their flag or celebrate their religion because it offends us? So why do we have to do that for them? I heard that we weren't allowed to fly the Union Flag in the Queens Jubilee because it's racist apparently, we just have to wave red or rainbow coloured flags as they are supposed to be multicultural and non offensive. What's this country coming to??

You missed some...

The jobs, don't forget the jobs they've taken off "us".

And the ones who haven't taken all the jobs have taken all the benefits too, all illegally an' all.

Wow. To think you went to the trouble of typing all that. I believe the term is "shıt stirring". Well done.

Thanks for someone letting me know that it's only on the BBC. Once again the aussie media have blown something out of pro. I guess they mentioned it because he appeared on breakfast telly over here and that would give them some sort of one up manship over the UK. Funny lot sometimes.

RB, I think you'll find it's Sally's version of satire.

It's the same as the normal type, but not as funny.
