Even a brain-dead bookie wouldn't give odds on that one

Don't see the fuss at all. Cameron has to eat, so what does it matter if some cretin with more money than sense is across the table? At £250K it must be the most expensive meal on the planet though. Tell him he can come to our gaff for a monkey.

they need t immediatley publish a list of who has attended these dinners since the condems came to power. Pound to a penny its been stuffed with private healthcare execs conveniently seated next to Landsley with right wing christian nutjobs next to gove to discuss their'free' schools scam
What a surprise! The unusual speed of resignation by modern day standards suggests Cameron has to try to knock it on the head asap - show he won't tolerate it, etc - maybe because they're "all in it together."
Let's hope the press don't let this drop and hound the PM into resignation, what with his borrowed police horse and all. Can't see out gutless press going for him though.

And more likely bankers.
You raise a good point. It must be done and done immediately.

If you pay £250k for a dinner I think you're entitled to expect something more than good food and entertaining by a celebrity, the fee will cover hard Prime Ministerial commitment to a policy that you are lobbying for.

Another high-profile political scandal NOT broken by the BBC first.
Curious, given that the BBC has more money, more resources (including mind-boggling technological facilities), more reporters, more researchers, more experts of all descriptions and more time on its hands than ANY newspaper - and perhaps ALL put together.
