I always find ringing them and telling them you are thinking of switching to one of their rivals helps them give you a better offer
Anyone had the new Blackberry Storm 2? How does it compare to the 9700 bold? I have a decision to make over the next few weeks. Storm currently winning.
Now The Wire.

Got the Storm 1 (couldn't work out what the difference between 1 and 2). Totally love it and wouldn't go back. The only thing that I'd consider if I was planning to change would be the iphone. Not sure if that's helpful or not!

3 do trade phone choice for better deals and IMO they have by far the best network and content. My experience with them has a halo ring over it and is remembered with angels playing harps compared to my experience with O2 which is akin to swimming naked through a sea of cheese graters.
I guess the big decision is - do you want a physical keyboard or not? To me the whole point of a Blackberry is that it is a great messaging device and the big selling point is the keyboard. Even though the screen is bigger on the Storm, resolutions are the same, but because the Bold's screen is physically smaller the pixel density is higher and therefore is many cases the quality will look better.
Differences: Slight differences in audio/video format support. They both support the main formats (AAC, MP3, H.264 etc.)
+ for Storm Enhanced (and faster) Bluetooth capabilities (may not be important) 8x more on board memory (2GB vs 256MB)
+ for Bold Thinner and lighter 6 days extra quoted standby time (21 days vs 15 on the Storm)
