Unfortunately the only Monkee with any musical talent was Mike Nesmith, the others were more actors than musicians. I can't recall one original Monkees song at all, even Daydream Believer sounds better by John Stewart |

Agree about Mike Nesmith, I still have buried somewhere 2 vinyl albums of his, Magnetic South and Loose Salute, must have another listen sometime as from memory there was some very listenable stuff on both, in a countryfied pop-rock stylee. |
