In 2010 25,000 cattle were prematurely killed for bTB costing the tax payer £91m in the 20010/11 financial year, 44% up on the year before. Over 10 years of scientific research, of the highest calibre costing £50m, says culling is not the answer yet the geverment want to push this idea though.
