In the links thread it states that popular shows like this one can have their own thread. Seriously I can’t wait for the show to start tonight. Frankie Cocozza is rumoured to be on it which will be awesome if it comes true. I wonder who else will be in it? |

What I want to know is, if people had jobs, how would they combine that with watching 20 hours a day of Big Brother, soaps, Friends repeats, MTV etc channels, Dancing on Ice / X Factor / Idol, playing Mafia Wars/Fishing / Cafe World / etc on Facebook, Twitter, and endless games texts and messages on their iphones? Is there time for anything any more? I reckon that dumbing down has now reached the stage where most people spend most of their lives in an utterly banal waste of time, for practically no purpose at all, on pointless diversions to the point of obsession. Unlike us on these boards of course, which are a plainly wonderful and productive use of one's time |

I really don’t understand why there’s so much dislike towards Frankie. He gives journalist something to write about and entertains large sections of Britain with his edgy lifestyle. Another rumour was that Lindsey Lohan might be in the house too. They’d make a great celebrity romance don’t you think? |

Is there time for anything any more? A lot of people who do the stuff that you’ve mentioned have jobs. Well not jobs - just places people go to pretend to work. My mate for example works in a office and she’s always on Facebook. Sometimes she can get away with not doing work at all because she just has to make it look like she’s working when in reality she’s doing something else (facebooking) to make time go quicker so she can get home and go on Facebook at home as well. |

Unlike us on these boards of course, which are a plainly wonderful and productive use of one's time i dont work (hopefully that will be sorted though in the next few weeks. fingers crossed) i dont do any of the above. ive been getting myself fitter the last couple of years(in between blood tests and hospital stays and appointments) to be able to return to work. me and the dog go out everyday and we all go out at the weekend (weather permitting) and i usually need to sleep for an hour or 2 in the afternoon. i spend time on here and LFC forums mainly. i read. i have very rarely been bored these last 2 years. i wont be watching celeb big brother or other such krap. |
