I've been to Thailand only once with work. Stayed in a place called Mueang Surat Thani. Took an eternity to get there, only to arrive at an absolute sh*t hole. Brought back bad memory's of my time in Lagos.
Then again the area I visited wasn't a tourist hot spot. The more tourist friendly area's should be better.
Get yourself to Singapore. Absolutely fantastic place. Poles apart from Thailand though.
Wigan vs Leeds finals aggregate score.

I have come here to chew bubblegum and kick ass, and I am all out of bubblegum.
Don't you struggle. Don't you fight. Don't you worry, cause it's your turn tonight!
I've been the last 2 years in November. Awesome place with so much to do. I stay on Sukhumvit as opposed to the usual Khao San Road which is the backpacking area. Ive stayed at Nana hotel and Bel Aire Princess with the latter been alot better but alot more expensive ( i only stayed here because it was part of the flight/hotel deal ). Nana hotel is opposite Nana plaza, the heart of the party. That's Bangkok btw.
If you need any help at all dude drop me a PM and i'll try and answer any questions.
Also a trip over to Koh Samui is a must imo. Can get a flight for around £60 with Bangkok Airways.
I'm going to Thailand in April/May, staying on Koh Samui. I've not been before but the missus has, and she says its just a fab place, defo a place to visit if you are staying on the main land!!
