Electric plug from clutch pedal

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hi, I have a p-reg fiesta mk3 Endura E.

After having problems with the car over-revving at junctions I read up and was advised to feel at the top of the clutch pedal for a small electric 'plug' and make sure it was secure.

Its not secure, and is now dangling between the pedals? I cant see/feel where it needs to go at the top of the clutch.

Can anybody help?

Fred Flintstone?

I assume the OP has a floor in his car

To the OP: get yourself a headlamp (not one of those things at either side of your car's wings but a lamp that fits on your head), push the driver seat back and get yourself in your best limbo position and see where it should go.

Get in the library and have a look at the Haynes for it (do they still do those? :) ) that's what I used to do if something went wrong. Most of the time I managed to fix it myself with one of those.
