Turned out to be a 'winning' day yesterday at Ponte and the associated after-racing drinks were saved for Wakey. :)

Particularly enjoyed Nottingham Brewery Rock Mild 3.8% and Nick Staffords Hambleton Ales Bucking Bruiser 4.0%.

Was in the Hop yesterday afternoon followed by a visit to the Wellington. Significant preference for the latter although I can understand why the Hop will also be popular amongst real ale drinkers.
