Oh, I'm only going to do this one more time and then I have to make a decision, its boiled down to a cheap £12 deal (200 mins, 200 text, 2gb internet) on one of these two ...
Samsung Galaxy Ace Sony Ericsson Experia Mini
It should be the Samsung I know, but I just like the Sony...

Help me someone.
Have you been into a phone shop and had a play with them both?

No
I might do that on my way home tonight, the previous Sony X8 got poor reviews but this one seems to be a big improvment although the screen in slightly smaller.

I think you should. Once you've bought it, you have to live with it for two years. Ask to see them both working and see what the navigation is like, try using the keypads, look at the screen quality etc. If I was buying without doing that, I'd go for a Samsung every time. I've had phones by both manufacturers in the past, and always preferred the Samsung ones.

Pretty much agree with everything above.
I've just looked at the mini (it's so hard to keep up with models these days) and my mum has the - I'm guessing - older version, I'm not a huge fan tbh. It really is quite mini too! Plus it came with a spare back cover, which was pink...
Sony used to do the better 'music phones' due to their walkman range, not sure how true that is these days. Plus as you're a Spotify user you'd be using their platform, if you are still getting that deal.
If it was my money I'd be going Samsung without a doubt.
No more bloody questions from you either. Just get a b*st*rd phone already

So its the Samsung then eh ?
Are you like this with every decision you have to make? I have visions of you standing in your kitchen, two hours late for work, with a box of cornflakes in one hand and a box of cheerios in the other, looking back and forth in bewilderment.
