Video evidence emerges of Nigel Farage pledging EU millions for NHS weeks before Brexit vote

What is British that overseas markets are clamouring for? This means British owned, controlled and taxed here.

Oh, go on, give us just a small clue,
After all we have been promised unlimited prosperity, once we are free from the evil that is the EU.

We have?

Unlimited prosperity?

Who by?

Go on, admit you made that up.

You got me

But anything goes in the new world order.
I should have said that we'd be better off and there is very little evidence of this coming from anywhere.

Even before article 50 is activated, we will see rising inflation, increased borrowing and suppressed wages, not to mention the least well off having the life squeezed out of them.

Meanwhile the Euro continues to fall, the EZ banking system is creaking, migrants are running amok in Germany and Scandinavia, the EU can't make a decision on any of the major events that are reshaping Europe (and potentially destroying Europe's peace an wealth) but you still think the EU is a panacea for all the UKs problems. I will predict now that the second out (if not the first the way we are going on) will be GERMANY. Then the whole continent is in trouble.

IF Germany pulls out of the EU, it will effectively cease to exist and in this situation Farage could become known as "the prophet Farage" and then, clearly, the UK would have made totally the right decision.
As I've mentioned previously, for me, it's the trading aspect of the EU plus, any security issues, that are it's strongest attributes.
The free movement needs/needed changing as it is no longer working to plan.

Free movement is only not working to plan in that more Southern Europeans have not moved to Northern Europe. That was always the safety valve against economic downturn in specific regions and always the inherent weakness of the whole EU project.

I think it's more to do with numbers.
Back in the day (when the EU was a mere 7 nations), free movement was a non issue and merely allowed small numbers of people to visit and work in other parts of Europe (apart from the Brits "invading" Spain  ).
However, with the far more severe disparity in wealth between some of the member nations, there are greater numbers wanting to move, to help improve their life chances.
The principle is great, if it means the opportunity to work and live in a different country, which should have mutual benefits for all parties but, an exodus from any country is clearly not helpful and therefore some different controls need to be put in place.
