Well I had my concerns over Dark Souls 2 but I should never have doubted the guys at From Software. Absolutely amazing game, I've sunk over 80 hours into it over the last three weeks.
I actually got around to using my PS4 a little bit too recently, I played a bit of MGS Ground Zeroes. It's actually a really fun game. The main mission isn't very long, but I was playing it for over 2 hours and had only completed 8% of the game when I was done. There are about 5 extra missions you can unlock too. It looks amazing, running in full 1080p and 60fps. Hopefully this is a sign of things to come.

I really enjoyed Ni No Kuni, unfortunately I got a puppy around the time I really got into it and was never able to get back on my PS3 once he came in. May start to play it again, I thought the battles were really fun.
It's a pity that that's EA's approach to FIFA, really. I might just start to play Football Manager again.

If it ever gets released, I'm really looking forward to the Retron 5. It's a console which allows you to play original games for the Megadrive, SNES etc. Sounds too good to be true, but scheduled for April release, so here's hoping.

You know you can get perfectly good emulators that already do all that stuff, right?

The retrorns are not the most reliable machines and its no surprise that its taking them a while to release it.
I think the current state of gaming will see more and more people taking an interest in retro gaming and buying old machines. I keep saying it but the likes of Nintendo and Sega should re-open the Megadrive and SNES production lines because lots of 30 somethings would snap the up at the right price.
There is also nothing quite like having the real machine to play these games on.
Looking back the early 90s really was a golden era of gaming, the Megadrive and SNES was the first time you could play almost Arcade standard games in your living room and you can see their influence in todays consoles.

Having had both of the previous consoles and only really playing the 360 I've finally upgraded. But decided to ditch Microsoft and go with the PS4, hope it is worth the gamble because I won't be buying both again. Lacking friends on the PS though so feel free to add me markb23 (yes I didn't realise I wouldn't be able to ever change my gamertag on PS3!!)

I'll try and remember to add you next time I'm on my ps4. If you weren't already planning on getting it, I highly recommend you pick up the ps4 version of The Last of Us when it's released. It won over 200 game of the year awards in 2013 and one of the main reasons Sony decided to release it again for the ps4 is specifically for people like you, who have emigrated over from the MS consoles.

I don't really play games anymore or haven't for the last year or so. But one of the last games I had was 'The last of us'. One of my favourite ever games. Would be great if it was made into a movie!

If you like Zombies, Survival Horror, 3rd-person action and RPG'ish elements, and particularly if you like them all rolled into one package, give State Of Decay a try. I picked it up on the Steam sale for about £3
