Maybe what you detect is hope; I'm not a dyed in the wool Corbynite, but I'm old enough to remember the Thatcher years, so a Labour government under his leadership is infinitely more preferable than 5 more years of Mrs May ruthlessly savaging all but the privileged few.

And a Government report has estimated that a BH injects around a billion quid into the economy - so not as potty as you would like to think.

I think you may be falling for the outrage that the Daily Mail want you to feel.

How does it inject a Billion quid - do you mean that money spent during the bank is money but would be spent anyway or money that would be saved?

Your job is to say to yourself on a job interview does the hiring manager likes me or not. If you aren't a particular manager's cup of tea, you haven't failed -- you've dodged a bullet.

I'm old enough to remember the Callaghan years and believe me by comparison the Thatcher years were a breeze.

Who exactly is May savaging - is she savaging you if so how?

The old, the sick, the disabled, the young, teachers, NHS staff - just for starters.

She's not savaging me specifically right now, but I give enough of a $hit about the country I live in to see past my own circumstances and recognise that we can be judged by how we treat the least fortunate in society - and right now, that's a national disgrace.

You can throw in the low paid into that also.

How does increasing tax thresholds only affect the low paid?

In Springfield, they're eating the dogs, the people that came in. They're eating the cats! They're eating the pets!

Well done Corbyn for offering an amnesty for EU citizens who are already over here.
Mind you, he'll have to get elected to bring it in !

It's the first sensible comment from either party since the election was announced.

I know it's not straigt forward but, it's definitely a step in the right direction.

The old have had their pensions protected for years so not sure how the vast majority of older people are being savaged. The young have ample opportunity to get on it has been a long time since there was this level of employment, the sick so you are getting worse treatment from the NHS when you are sick - really? You might have to wait in A&E if you really shouldn't be there but that's your own fault. Teachers never been as well paid on average they earn c£37k a year how is that savagery? I bet the surgeons and the top administrators in the NHS are thinking I'm being savaged. Perhaps if the NHS weren't so wasteful there would be more money to pay people?

It doesn't only affect the low paid but proportionally to a high earner they are better off.

Mac out!
