If you actually understood the bible, instead of just paying lip service to save yourself when you die, you will know that it has nothing to do with God, miracles or angels. It was produced at a time when science consisted of poking a dead frog with a stick and the only way to make people treat each other better was to scare them and make them god-fearing. The message mainly of the new testament is basically treat each other nice.

I'm not bashing religion, Churches are nice places to go and generally have nice people inside them. Your analogy does not work because it presumes that God sees things in a certain order. God exists outside of time and therefore looks back on things which have already happened, he watches things as they happen, and he looks to the future and sees what happens then.

God does not dwell solely in the present, looking into the future. He equally looks back on things which have already happened. If they have already happened, how did God have any say in them? Things are not just pre-ordained, they are as much post-ordained.
