Just playing Halo Combat Evolved Anniversary Edition. £25 on shopto.net and you get a a load of extra maps for reach aswell so couldn't say no. Never played it originally on xbox so I'm Enjoying it. Its remastered but you can switch between the original and the remastered version at any time so its quite interesting to see how scenery and surroundings on games have changed over the last 10 years. I normally only find myself really enjoying sports games and get bored of shooters Like cod but I really Like the Halo games.

Got my early access to SWTOR today. The queues for the servers are a bit silly, so I'm sat in a 35 minute queue at the moment waiting to play. Some servers have a 2 and a half hour queue!

Holding out on picking it up for the time being, the Halo games tend to drop in price very fast, you can usually get them new for about £10 within a few months of release. I've bought all of the previous games in the series on release date, loved the first 3 games, they are some of my all time favourites, but really didn't get the same enjoyment out of Wars, ODST and Reach, beginning to get burnt out on the series since MS started pumping them out yearly I think.
Think I'm going to start Skyward Sword tomorrow, pre-ordered it but haven't been able to bring myself to play it yet, think the Zelda series is another I have loved in the past but am completely burnt out on now. Be interesting to see if I can make it all the way through this one, OoT 3D was the first Zelda game I've ever bought and not had the desire to finish.

Its awful.
game will be down to about 10,000 subscribers within a year when everyone goes back to WOW. Just like warhammer online.
Fact is, you have WOW for your casuals and EVE for your hardcore player base. Nothing else on the MMOPRG market will last as long as these 2. Speaking of which, come back, its getting interesting. Us (goons) and our friends have just started an assault on branch and vale, in particular white noise who have 124 systems and Raiden (band of brothers) who have a similar amount. We had 1600 sub caps and over 200 supercaps/titans on field yesterday
The forever war between Goonswarm and band of brothers still exists. What is it now, close to a 7 year war in which we have destroyed their alliance 5 times. By the way, Sirmolle has started band of brothers in SWOTR too

I got to the Sephiroth battle on that and had my PS3 nicked before I completed it. Always consider going back to it but I'll probably wait until we have another 'dry spell', i.e. this summer.

Not strictly gaming, but xbox 360 has just brought out 4od and 5 on demand and has also got plans to get bbc iplayer, all that along with sky player which is bloody brill is great news. I use my xbox quite a lot for watching media and its getting a lot better, shame it doesn't have a blu ray player but I can still watch blu ray quality stuff via windows media centre.
Looks like they are trying to turn the xbox into a gaming and media console.

Wish they'd just keep it how it was to be honest. The new dashboard is a pain in the backside to use.
