I like the look of Little Big Planet. Just added it to my rental list on love film.
Just starting out on GT5 and so far so good. Quite an enjoyable game, My only problem is that because I broke the controller I have a cheap crappy wired generic one from asda which is ok but as the analog sticks seem a bit stiff steering seems a bit trickier than it needs to be.
Anyone got any suggestions for a cheaper generic controller that's still decent? Preferably wireless. Don't want to buy on ebay as I suspect there are a lot of fakes knocking about, and even in cex they are wanting £36 for a used official dual shock 3 controller.

What is your opinion on it after coming over from 360? My PS3 tends to be used more often than my xbox, but as far as Driving/Racing games go Forza is king IMO, far superior than GT5, GT has fallen behind.

Never really played Forza tbh, But I did play a lot of dirt 3 and I really enjoyed that.
Both consoles have good and bad point's. Not used the ps3 much but part of the reason I got it is I was after a blu ray player. I only paid £70 by the time I'd fixed the drive so it seemed worth it. The web browser seems a lot better. And not needing to pay for a "gold" service to use Lovefilm and other online apps that I'm already paying for to begin with is good. Infact if the ps3 had sky go I'd probably never sign upto xbox live again. I only really used Live for sky go and Halo 4 which I have drifted away from now anyway.
As I get more games I imagine that with newer title's I'll probably be choosing the ps3 version over the xbox.

Are we all mega excited now for the unveiling of the new Xbox? I think we are.
I was going to take the day off work for it, but if the PS4 reveal was anything to go by, the stream will be so poor it's impossible to watch live anyway.
I just hope it looks cool, get some nice lights on the thing.

It doesn't start until about 6pm so I should make it home in time to catch it all. Looking forward to what they have to offer this time around, and I think it has been confirmed that both FIFA 14 and CoD: Ghosts will be getting some screen time during the conference.

It's not the most aesthetically pleasing console I've ever seen, and that's putting it nicely It looked absolutely massive! Really hope the ps4 looks better than that.
Not bothered about talking and waving my hands around to change outputs, I have no issues with using a tv remote.

I'm not impressed tbh. The console itself reminds me of an old top loading VHS player I used to have from the 80's :/ , and all they seemed to focus on was entertainment. Which to me is already covered with my ps3 having a blu ray and my pc. They made a big deal of being able to use a mobile device as a remote which again, isn't anything new and something that I do all the time with my iphone and pc when I'm watching stuff through my pc.
the new xbox live does look impressive, but it will come at a cost which is another thing that put's me off. with GTA5 coming to this generation and probably keeping me occupied for a while I don't think I'll be in any rush to be getting a next gen console.
It would appear that they have made deals with E.A to try and get exclusive content but it's all stuff that would usually be added extra's anyway.

I like the design. Simple and minimalist.
Not sure if I'll buy it on launch, will depend on the price. Not too fussed about the various features and Kinect etc as I only really play the 360 simply for games and I don't play online, although having a blu ray player will be handy.
