Now I'm getting more used to it, it's getting more enjoyable. You just have to learn to not throw the ball about too much and try and play tactically. I.e keeping hold of the ball and not forcing offloads or giving away possession easily.
The interceptions ruin it a lot. but if it wasn't for those this would be a brilliant game. when I say brilliant, i mean in comparison to previous RL games, Don't buy this and expect something with the depth and quality of something like fifa.
I imagine this has superior gameplay to FIFA. You only seem to list one problem (interceptions), yet you don't seem to realise that FIFA has God-mode ticked when it comes to interceptions.

Been playing CM 01/02 for a bit of retro entertainment.
I used to think it was easy, its a bloody nightmare. Six competitive games so far, and the opposition keepers have got match ratings of - 9 - 8 - 8 - 9 - 8 - 8 whereas mine has got 7 five times and an 8! no chance! nothing worse than constantly being mugged by sloppy goals while your strikers play against a goalkeeping fortress.

Wasn't that the year where you could play the default 4-3-3 and with Michael Owen as the central stiker he'd get 150 goals a season and it was pretty much impossible to lose?

Where did I say anything about it having superior gameplay to fifa? I could pick out a hell of a lot of problems with rll2 If I really wanted to but my main point was that it is still a hell of a lot better than any other R.L game I've ever played, by far. The interceptions are just my biggest issue. A lot of other stuff like 9 out of ten times on the 5th it will be a prop who punt's the ball down field and thing's like props playing out on the wing, But it's still an improvement.

Now now, son, I was joking. You never said that, you said don't expect something with the depth and quality of FIFA. I sarcastically had a jibe at FIFA that seems to be lost on you.

I like fifa, so any jibes at that just go over my head
Had a go at Madden 13 earlier, wow what a game. Not got a clue what I'm doing, But it's graphically brilliant, and all the cut scenes with things like commentators etc just add to it.

So it makes the game even slower than it already is!
