Did anyone hear Alicia Castroon on radio 4 last night?

When asked if she wanted to live on the islands, she replied no but some do. When asked why they do she couldn't answer except go into a rehearsed spiel about oil and fish. They’re not bothered about the people or the islands themselves, just the resources. Shouldn't the inhabitants come first in any negotiations?
