No. But that's what management at the highest levels of a company are partly paid for – to be able to see what is coming and deal with it. It's not news, in effect, to see the impact of internet shopping on the retail sector in the UK. So what planning did management put in place to deal with that?
Someone (it might have been you) highlighted how other retail outlets have changed things (in terms of concentrating on different tech, for instance). So managements can look at things and have an idea about the way things are going, and they can do something about it.

It's a simple enough question, and if someone can come up with an answer, then I am all ears.
I didn't suggest there was much of an alternative now. The time for good management seems, in this case, to have passed.

That's what's wrong with this country. People are too quick to criticise, but won't even attempt to fix the problem in favour of just having a whinge.
You are just a staw man.
The only way she can fix the problem is by voting for politicians she thinks might be able to do that. In the meantime that doesn't disqualify her or anyone else from commenting on the poor situation we find ourselves in or on the latest government screw up whatever it may be. It's not her fault if one week after the next some ideologically driven bit of policy heaps misery on yet another part of the population.
Asking what alternatives she has or what she would do to fix the country is no argument. It just avoids the issues in the same way you attempt to ignore news if its reported in the Guardian.
If you think the criticism is unjustified say why - not that the criticism itself is wrong. If you can't or won't do that you are just as bad as those you yourself criticise.

Not one person has said it has, but the usual suspects are claiming we are. Paranoia perhaps

Oh ...
I've refrained from being personal, but as you're going that way I feel obliged.
You have your own photo as your avatar, which says more about you than words.
You're hardly unbiased, you think anyone with more than you is somehow getting an unfair advantage, you take great pleasure in taking the moral high ground when all you actually do is repeat other peoples words and thoughts. One day you'll post on a thread without linkig to some "worthy left leaning opinion piece"
I worked at Seven Seas a long time ago (about 15 years, as stated previosuly) and the workforce were inflexible and dogmatic (remind you of anyone)
I have never suggested Hull White Star should just retire to a corner and die, I don't wish anyone ill fortune, but I don't simply subscribe to the rhetoric and falsehoods on here that everything the coalition do is bad, some of it has been awful, some of it has been good, the majority has been unfortunate necessity.
Now, go and be a bully with someone who gives a poop what you think Mintball, becuase I, along with many others I suspect, am fed up with reading your jaundiced ramblings, I don't know what has happened to you, but I hope you get over it, and yourself, sometime soon.

What kind of interest would you like them to take?
