I've seen women in those elasticated bottom ones and roman style sandals, but not lately thank goodness.
By coincidence, I walked into my local Aldi yesterday behind a man sporting a pair (shoite brown) complete with shoes like carpet slippers.

I didn't see where he parked his magic carpet.

I fully expected him to mutter Open Sesame as he approached the doors.

It's not a good look.

They look minging!

I have Primark skinnys for work :oops:
They're cheap, 'OK' for the work I do and easily replacable.
And Primark do them long enough. I have them in blue, faded blue and black.
I also have my most favourite pair of jeans ever. They're a pair of at least ten year old 501's, long enough and faded in all the right places, I love them to bits because I can wear them with almost anything.
I've got other jeans but none of them are exactly 'right'.

Only, they weren't jeans. They were tacksuit bottoms. Tracksuit bottoms with a crotch to the knees.

eBay is (or should be) your friend. Plenty of longer-leg sizes available
