Many examples? Biggest one of all ,Blair weapons of mass destruction . Brown I will abolish boom and bust. Corbyn, I absolutely never met the IRA, friends of Middle East terror groups not me I just happened to be sharing a platform with them. Mandelson, creativity use of filling in mortgage application form. Southern states of USA, wonderful,I have traveled extensively in the south, Nashville is superb, especially the country and western bars . New Orleans the French quarter for jazz. Keep away from bourbon street, that’s awful . I admire your naivety in the hope that Corbyn and the rest of his cohorts can change your life. I gave up on all political parties years ago. I look upon all parties and witness a sea of mediocrity and incompetence. The majority of them wouldn’t gain employment outside politics.

I asked you about the many examples of Corbyn lying. You have produced no evidence of him meeting the IRA. It is well-documented he met Sinn Fein & Adams in particular. You might be confusing him with the Thatcher Government who regularly met the IRA.
You seem to be confusing me with a Labour voter/member. I am generally neither.

I don’t presume to guess which party you support or even vote for. My original comment was agreeing with you that Johnson was guilty of lying. I merely asked in the interest of balance and fairness you highlighted Corbyns lies. You however constantly verbally abuse anybody who come on here with a view different to yours. Sadly it’s the usual platitudes, racist, xenophobia, gammon etc etc. I wasn’t being flippant regarding you leaving the country, you seem to have a palpable hatred of this country and sections of it. There must be some country that may make you happy. Some of the best times if my life with my family was the west coast of Ireland, in particular west cork.wonderful people. It would do you the world of good out in cork might get rid of that bile and hatred in your system. Hopefully.

Christ have we inadvertently plugged this thread into a live feed from Paul Staines? That post about Luxembourg was a classic. Admits total ignorance of who their leader is then reels off a series of, let's be polite, incorrect assertions.

The Brexiteers on this thread aren't doing much to change that apparently unfair view that they are one tackle short of a full set.

Can any of you please discuss stuff rationally without injecting bile about foreigners or questioning other posters patriotism? it really can't be that hard can it.

To be fair if Jean Claude Juncker had visited Downing St and they set up a press conference just 10 metres from a jeering and booing anti-EU mob, I'd take great satisfaction in name-calling when he inevitably chose not to participate in said press conference. That's if Juncker was sober enough to speak in the first place. :)

Xavier Bettel's belittling attitude personified everything about the sneering arrogance of the EU. They just can't help themselves - I've said it many times on here, the attitude and words of EU leaders went a long way to securing my Leave vote.

They could have moved the press conference or moved the mob, but instead - at a crucial time in UK-EU relations - they deliberately chose to ambush Johnson: if he speaks he gets shouted down by the mob, which has a terrible impact on TV channels around the world. If he walks away they gleefully deride him. He had no choice but to opt for the lesser of two bad options. All these events are planned to the nth degree with backup plans for various eventualities but oh no, they allowed the PM to walk into a no-win situation despite a request to move the press conference.

But yep, enjoy the moment, a few cheap points for you lapdog Europhiles, that actually achieve nothing more than to demonstrate the arrogance of the EU and strengthen the resolve of the Leave movement. You think Johnson is more or less inclined to play nicely right now?

So why would Luxembourg resent UK commiting suicide? You don't think they are rich also because they are at the heart of the EU trading with the biggest trading block in the world, part of Benelux, & have hugely diversified from their original coal & steel industrial base? Half of Luxembourg residents are not Luxembourgers; they don't have the nasty racist, xenophobia of our cold, wet island; they all speak several languages. Beautiful place.

Yeah, but have they won 1 world cup and 2 world wars?

Do you think that "playing nicely" was ever on the agenda, especially under Boris ??
They guy has no intention of getting a deal and never did have, both sides are just laying the ground for the post Brexit "no deal" blame game.

So Labours "new" policy is to let the people decide ??
No "leadership" from Corbyn, who remains super glued to the fence.

Their share of the vote could disappear into the ether as many of the electorate will be voting for a party that is "in" or "out".
If the Tories and Brexit party make any kind of election pact, something the Tories have said they wont do, Labour will be obliterated.

In trying not to alienate anyone, Labour are alienating everyone.

Of course they dont wat to be seen going against the referendum result, when they have said for 3 years that they want to honour the vote but, having been demoted to 4th place in the recent EU elections, they could be in serious danger of losing further ground.

Corbyn had to pick a side and commit to it, instead, despite their "clear" policy, they have carried on, trying to hedge their bets.
